synclient doesn't recognize the SoftButtonAreas setting even if
ClickPad is set to 1:

$ synclient | grep ClickPad
    ClickPad                = 1
$ synclient SoftButtonAreas="60% 100% 0% 100% 46% 59% 0% 100%"
Unknown parameter SoftButtonAreas

The option works right in xorg.conf.
