We use openvpn for site-to-site connections. A branch office is getting addresses via dhcp. Unfotunately, we cannot bind isc-dhcp-relay on a tun-interface.
Bridging is not an option for us.

I found http://kabru.eecs.umich.edu/bin/view/Main/DhcpRelayUseSocket but this is a slightly different problem.
In our lab, dhcp-relay is not even starting if a tun-interface is supplied.

The last message we get is:

tun0: unknown hardware address type 65534
Then the daemon terminates if started by init-script.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Regards

Stefan
