   * What led up to the situation?
        General browsing, a suggestion that I would have to pay to get my data
back.  Locked the tab, so I couldn't close it.  Kept coming back with "Leave
Page", no matter what the response, it stayed open.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
        Tried what I knew, but ended up killing the process.  Only way to
recover.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
        Lost all browsing information.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

        I was hoping that I could just kill the tab!  No such luck
