Brandon Holtsclaw <me@brandonholtsclaw.com> has not been working on the apt-mirror package for quite some time. We are tracking their status in the MIA team and would like to ask you to remove them from the Uploaders list of the package so we can close that part of the file. (If the person is listed as Maintainer, what we are asking is to please step in as a new maintainer.) Thanks.
Richardo, Ummm what triggered this... and can you please reverse this action. I am most certainly not MIA as well as myself and other co-maintainers have indeed done updates as well in the last few weeks I know for sure if not even fresher. Hi Brandon,
Well, basically it was because:
· Your packages libvisual-plugins and libvisual were orphaned in 2011
without any reaction from you¹²
· Last upload you did of apt-mirror was on 2010³
· Last commit you did on apt-mirror collab-maint repo was also in 2010⁴
· Last action on one of your bugs⁵ was in 2010 too⁶, and there's more
recent bugs.
You say you're not MIA, which is good news and I'm glad you're not!
Unfortunately, as you can see by the above list, I could not find any
recent public sign of that activity in Debian since 2010.
Of course I'm able to miss things and make mistakes, so, not to repeat
this one, where are the updates you're referring too?
BTW, you can revert this just by closing this bug yourself, there's no
problem with that :)
Apologies for the inconvenience,

Ricardo, Understood. The newest code and web has been moved to https://github.com/apt-mirror/apt-mirror and http://apt-mirror.github.io/the copyright should have been changed with the last upload or two to reflect that + the old apt-mirror.sf.net pages have been redirected. there is some more cleanup with the collab-maint and such to make sure the latest dvcs url is listed and every thing is not stale , but yea I assure you I've myself been active and heard from both other members of the apt-mirror collab maintainers via email in just the past days. So in short, sorry for any confusion I guess. But I'll make sure any pointers are updated and cleaned up in the next few days. Seriously thanks for having an eye on it though and if you do have an intrest in the package its self and it was not purely a maintenance task then we're happy to have to join the collab team as well :) ( Note: yea I probably should have orphaned the other two packages more gracefully, it was just very low on my list since Amarok dropped using them , and iirc was the only user of it I think, plus upstream for it sputtered out ... but yea totally my fault there & not the case here though. ) *Brandon Holtsclaw* Voice / SMS: 816-974-6106 LinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/brandonholtsclaw Blog: http://www.brandonholtsclaw.com
