Hi,

How about sorting packages by decreasing popcon, within each section
of the PET page ("Ready For Upload", "Packages with RC bugs", etc.)?

I believe this would help teams with large amounts of packages, and
a huge PET page, to focus their efforts in a way that benefits our
users better.

Thoughts?

This proposal was inspired by the systemd dashboard, that takes
a similar role as the PET, and does use popcon data to make important
things appear on top:

Another approach would be the number of reverse (build) dependencies.

And in any case: Making this sorting optional :)
(As in the ubiquitous "click on column header to sort by this field"
way.)

Now we just need someone who speaks python and is interested in
hacking on PET.
