Dear Maintainer,

When starting up, I get the following message in /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log:

[+0.26s] DEBUG: Could not run plymouth --ping: Failed to execute child process "plymouth" (No such file or directory)

As far as I can tell, there is no package that lightdm depends on,
recommends or even suggests that provides this program.
