#725726 iceweasel: previous tab title not completely erased for high glyphs as with "É"

The first character in a tab title is "É" (see attached tab-font1.png
image). When I follow a link the new title starts with a "C", but the
top part of the accented character "É" is not erased: there is a dot
over the "C" (see attached tab-font2.png). This is reproducible.
