fetch the following file and render it with evince:

http://www.nyc.gov/html/lpc/downloads/pdf/maps/BedStuy_ExpStuyHeights_DESIGNATION_FINAL%20MAP.pdf

here is the sha1sum:
fc2ac2ef60bfa43ff00f224a4190833b0d910331 BedStuy_ExpStuyHeights_DESIGNATION_FINAL MAP.pdf

evince BedStuy_ExpStuyHeights_DESIGNATION_FINAL\ MAP.pdf

I see the following errors from the evince run:

*** BUG ***
In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed
Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug

*** BUG ***
In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed
Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug

*** BUG ***
In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed

I'm not sure if this should be assigned to libpixman or to evince
directly. Feel free to reassign if it belongs to evince instead.

I find the bug with the current evince 3.14.1-1 and libpixman-1-0 0.32.6-3.
I attach a smallish .pdf example which reproduces the same error message,
and which may make it simpler to track.

Other that the error message, I can detect no other problem.
The pdf displays correctly.

Thanx,
		Nick

I confirm this bug with libpixman-1-0:i386 0.32.6-3 and evince 3.14.1-2.

Here is small process to reproduce :

1. Create an empty document with Inkscape.
2. Use the text tool to write some text.
3. Rotate the text box by 180°.
4. Save as PDF.
5. Open said PDF with evince.

Regards,

S.

evince still shows me that same error.
