I'd kind of like to be using this plugin, but it's not in Debian.
It looks like it has packaging.
Anything I can do to help?

Feel free to take the ITP, i was only packaging it so we could eventually
re-add twitter to pidgin in xubuntu.

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging prpltwtr. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.
