Dear Maintainer,

   * In a comepletely new installation of debian wheezy amd64 on a toshiba
laptop, with no special modifications made to the installation or the laptop
whatsoever, the emulator is unable to respond to keyboard strokes
   * I reviewed the configuration regarding controllers, and everything is ok,
but enter/backspace/z/x don't act as start/select/a/b buttons.
   * The emulator is unusable to me
