Dear maintainer, currently tetrinet-client does not supply a desktop and menu file and no desktop and menu icons. Hence the game is not well integrated into the user's desktop environment. Please consider helping to improve the desktop integration of games in Debian. Please refer to the empire package for a ncurses-based game that already provides desktop and menu files and to https://wiki.debian.org/Games/JessieReleaseGoal Regards, Markus
Hi, since tetrinet came up as a candidate for the Bug of the Day I had a look into this bug. While writing some desktop file would be possible its not really helpful for the user, thought. Before simply clicking on the menu entry users need to make sure the server is started and also need to give some NICK as command line argument. Since all this is not really convenient I'd rather tag this bug wontfix. Kind regards Andreas.
