BRAHMS is a Modular Execution Framework (MEF) for executing integrated
systems built from component software processes (a SystemML-ready
execution client). Its operation is conceptually similar to that of
Simulink. Such tools allow the connection of processes together into
systems, by linking the outputs of some processes into the inputs of
others.

BRAHMS is used by computational neuroscience and robotics researchers.

Hi,

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging brahms. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.

This is an automatic email to change the status of brahms from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 12 months.

I started work packaging BRAHMS about 18 months ago. There were a lot
of problems in the architecture of the build process, and in the
intervening time, I became a maintainer of BRAHMS and completely
redesigned the build.

I'm not working on packaging BRAHMS again, and I have a lintian-clean
package ready to go.

I think I was probably at the stage of needing a sponsor for the package.

I now have lintian clean packages of BRAHMS version 0.8.0 ready.

Note that I am now packaging BRAHMS version 0.8.0, rather than 0.7.3.

The upstream repository mentioned here seems to be gone. So I am closing
this RFP. In case his software is developed somewhere else please open a
new RFP with current data.
