I use program for editing, trimming zipped file-system data, i.e. for Android
ROMs. One such operation involves  an undesired directory at the end of
several subdirectories. I want to remove that whole tree so I select the head
directory, delete. Innermost files removed normally. Delete again, empty
directory takes a while to delete--4:4.11 version is immediate.

Results: Zip still readable, functional in ark. Zip file is substantially
larger than it was. Attempts to use zip to add or replace an item in resulting
zip file fail.

Downgraded meanwhile.

KDE 4.12 version now on Testing. This bug persists. So maybe should not be on
testing yet.

The current ark version in sid uses libarchive correctly to write zip files,
while the previous attemps produced a badly named tar.gz file, could you
please test it and report back if this fixes the issues for you?
