   * What led up to the situation?

Reinstalled 3.0.0~alpha3+dfsg-1 after removing .mikutter directory.

After successfully registering and setting a tab for myself (blacked out
in the screenshot), the "followers" and "following" lists were correctly
populated but after quitting and restarting mikutter, they were empty
as shown on the screenshot.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

reproduced but only once.  it maybe timing issue.
empty lists represented after restarting mikutter.

if your lists are still empty after restarting again,
please reopen this bug.

Fresh install of this version of mikutter.

I looked at my direct messages, double-clicked on my own icon to get a tab
with myself on it, quit mikutter and restarted mikutter then attempted to
look at my direct messages. My direct messages windows were blank.

A subsequent quit and restart of mikutter resulted in my direct messages
showing up again, but my followers and following tabs remain blank.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

With restarts, my direct messages reappeared but my followers and following
did not. (I could get followers and following of a different twitter acocunt
to appear, but not my own followers and following).

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

unreproduced in my environment.
it is possible that cache files are broken.
invoking mikutter with --clean option,
then cleaning .mikutter/{tmp,log,cache} directories.
so re-run mikutter and check your tabs.

upgrading to mikutter (3.0.0~alpha4+dfsg-1) from (0.2.2.1537+dfsg-2) ...

when I created a pane for my own twitter account, followers and following
were still blank as reported with 3.0.0~alpha3

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

but on subsequent runs the followers and following tabs are empty.

Thanks for looking at this bug, I still have it with version 3.0.1+dfsg-1 of
mikutter. Followers and Following appear the first time but not on
subsequent runs.
