This package includes common libraries for the sblim-sfcb and sfcc tools.

SBLIM stands for Standards Based Linux Insturmentation for Manageability.  It
is an IBM-initiated open source project, intended to enhance the manageability
of GNU/Linux systems.

Many OEMs such as Dell are leveraging sblim and wsman as means of providing
agentless systems management on their servers.

This package is a dependency for the sblim-sfcb package, which I will be filing
an ITP request for soon.

Seeking sponsorship to include this package in Debian.  Ubuntu is already
carrying it.

This package also has a build-dep on sblim-cmpi-devel, which I have filed
an ITP for in bug #754479

Hi,

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging sblim-sfc-common. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.

This is an automatic email to change the status of sblim-sfc-common from ITP
