* Package name : fonts-raleway Version : 4.0 Upstream Author : Daniel Foré et al * URL : https://www.theleagueofmoveabletype.com/raleway * License : OFL Programming Lang: None (.glif files) Description : Elegant sans-serif typeface designed in a single thin weight Raleway is an elegant sans-serif typeface, designed in a single thin weight. It is a display face that features both old style and lining numerals, standard and discretionary ligatures, a pretty complete set of diacritics, as well as a stylistic alternate inspired by more geometric sans-serif typefaces than its neo-grotesque inspired default character set. This is a part of my Google Summer of Code project on packaging elementary software for Debian, see https://wiki.debian.org/SummerOfCode2014/Projects/PackageElementarySoftware for more information. Although Raleway is already provided by the texlive-fonts-extra package, shipping it in a separate package is required to bring down the installed size for elementary-theme combined with dependencies from over 750Mb to under 5Mb. I was told to create a new source package instead of splitting it into a separate binary package, see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=753839
retitle 754784 RFP: fonts-raleway -- elegant sans-serif typeface designed in a single thin weight noowner 754784 tag 754784 - pending thanks Hi, A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging fonts-raleway. Unfortunately, it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from packaging the software. This is an automatic email to change the status of fonts-raleway from ITP (Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen any activity during the last 12 months. If you are still interested in packaging fonts-raleway, please send a mail to <control@bugs.debian.org> with: retitle 754784 ITP: fonts-raleway -- elegant sans-serif typeface designed in a single thin weight owner 754784 ! thanks It is also a good idea to document your progress on this ITP from time to time, by mailing <754784@bugs.debian.org>. If you need guidance on how to package this software, please reply to this email, and/or contact the debian-mentors@lists.debian.org mailing list. Thank you for your interest in Debian,
