Dear maintainer,

I've prepared an NMU for libmpd (versioned as
11.8.90+git20130319-0.1). As you are in the low threshold NMU list,
I'm looking to upload it without delay. Sorry for the large diff, this
is a new upstream version (reason is explained in #749055).

A source package can be found here while I am contacting sponsors:

It also seems that you are MIA; if that is confirmed I can adopt the
package and freshen the packaging: hardening, watch file, S-V, remove

Are you still interested in gmpc and libmpd?

Do I assume correctly that this never got sponsored?

Now that the package is orphaned, I think it would make sense to adopt
it on behalf of pkg-mpd. I'm happy to either review/sponsor, or do the
updates myself, time permitting.

I checked upstream homepage and could not find any link to the git
development repo. Instead, I could only find a released tarball of v11.8.17,
but it seems still earlier than the v11.8.90 you provided. Do you have any
idea about where I could find the upstream git repo that matches the
snapshot you provided?

Just to let you know, Debian now has libmpd 11.8.17 packaged. You may find
its details at https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/libmpd . If any newer version
is needed, please let me know.
