A self-contained, easily reusable, Python library for basic and OAuth
authentication. With it you can protect resources with authentication
methods, and stack them as well.

This is a small, self-contained and simplistic package, part of the lazr
python namespace providing authentication middlewares. I'd like to
package it, as it's used in the test-suites of launchpadlib dependencies
and having ability to execute complete test-suites is paramount to
verify python3 port of launchpadlib.

This package will be maintained in debian-python modules team. Stefano
is pre-listed as an uploader (as the maintainer of a few other lazr.*
packages).

Hi,

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging lazr.authentication. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.

This is an automatic email to change the status of lazr.authentication from ITP
