Dear Maintainer, I use gnome shell in a pc with a 26 inch monitor but the system thinks that my monitor is 7 inch. The result si that all is displayed very big. I have tried to change dpi using xorg.conf or using xrandr without any success. Please, there is a way to have the system configure correctly the monitor? There is a workaround to set the correct display size or dpi? Thanks a lot Piviul

Hi Piviul, Did you find a solution or did anybody reply to you about this bug? I observe similar problems trying to use a 4K UHD monitor that has 131 x 137 DPI Regards, Daniel

$ xrandr | grep -w connected DP-1 connected primary 3840x2160+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 708mm x 399mm The dimensions (both pixels and mm) appear correct $ xrdb -query | grep dpi Xft.dpi: 96
