It would be nice to have an init script for smuxi-server in the
smuxi-engine Debian package.

There are a couple of examples at

I don't know if licensing is an issue, but these are small scripts, so

I doubt wishlist is the right priority, it should by higher IMO. Actually I wonder if policy says anything about it.

Anyhow, is there a reason why this bug did not even get a reply, let alone a fix in more than a year?

Thanks for writing. I must admit that I don't even remember filing this
bug.

You could talk to Mirco on IRC (#smuxi) about it. He's quite helpful and
cooperative. He's upstream as well as being the Debian maintainer.

I don't currently use smuxi myself, so I'm not in touch.

And I'm not sure about policy, but a good place to ask about such things
is #debian-mentors on OFTC.
