Dear Maintainer,

please add the "xmpp-receipts" plugin [1] to the plugin pack.

This plugin implements xmpp message delivery receipts (XEP-0184). When
no delivering confirmation is displayed, it is also possible that
the receiver doesn't support the extension.

Several other xmpp clients natively support XEP-0184, and there has been a
thread discussing it officially: https://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/6940

Currently, several other distributions have already included this plugin,
(e.g. https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/pidgin-xmpp-receipts/
,
https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/x11-plugins/pidgin-xmpp-receipts ,
https://software.opensuse.org/package/pidgin-xmpp-receipts ) while debian and
its descendants not.

XEP-0184 is very useful to detect loss of synchronization when combined with
OTR, for a receipt is not generated if the corresponding message is not
successfully decrypted.
