   * What led up to the situation?

   Playing some recent (not all) CDs with audacious. With these CDs, the
   crash systematically occurs, although  not always exactly at the same instant of
   the audition.

   In the kern.log of the /var/log directory, I find the following lines
   (two trials)

     I only tried to increase the size of the cache.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

   No effect (corresponds to the second trial).

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

   Well, no more error:)
