Hi,

while trying to setup a VM for initramfs-tools testing, partman
failed me.

IIRC I had created a 500MB /boot ext4, then an encrypted volume on
the rest of the disk (rest of 20GB), cancelled the free space
randomization, created a / ext4 on top of the encrypted volume, and
then reentered the 'Setup encrypted volume' menu and immediately
exited it again.

d-i now hangs with "Detecting file systems..."

I've booted from debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso dated 2014-11-15
23:10, sha1 2ce4209f84b2ff902f73ae78d9c734c20ff485b5

I can confirm this bug. I am using the beta2 installer DVD1, and trying
to dual-boot jessie on an existing ubuntu box.

Using manual partitioning, I first resized the ubuntu root partition
from 1tb down to 500gb, then attempted to create an encrypted LVM
partition in the free space. This automatically filled the LVM VG with a
single ext4 partition, but I needed an encrypted swap space also, so
went into "configure lvm", but there were no options there to change
LVs. On exiting that menu, partman attempts to detect disks, but hangs
at 81%. I have reproduced this twice.
