--- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hi folks, synaptic shouldn't display the current version in the 'latest version' column when a pkg is frozen - this avoids to know there's a (perhaps;) unbugged version available. At this time, you're obliged to thaw the pkg to see if it is the case, and re-freeze it if not. Another point (mostly useful for sid): the pkg freezing menu should be part of the right-click menu (or left: I use a left hand mouse setup).
