Dear Maintainer,
I have the latest official debian stable release installed on three
different machines with different graphic cards (intel, nvidia) and XFCE
as the default DE through the installer.
All of them have the same issue: Horizontal lines "tearing" when moving
windows or watching video.
I try to enable/disable xfwm's compositor but nothing change.
Installing and using other compositor such as compton, solves the
problem (Only some performance issues remain). So i suppose this is a
xfwm4 bug?

Do you still experience this on 4.12?

I have to wait for 4.12 to become available for stable and testing
releases first.

No it isn't. See the testing packages here:

The link "*testing: *4.12.1
<https://packages.debian.org/source/testing/xfce4> **" from the versions
section in the url (https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/xfce4) that you
provide points here: https://packages.debian.org/source/testing/xfce4
which is version 4.10.1. Maybe something needs an update there.

I think it is worst with 4.12.
