I've been having issues with time-outs on sending e-mail.  I'm sending
using port 587 and TLS.  The server accepts the connection but then does
not send the 220 banner for 66 seconds.  After 60 seconds evolution hits
a time-out limit and the process fails.  This seems to be a violation
of:

https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5321#section-4.5.3.2
and
http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6409#section-5.3

would it be possible to increase the time-out, or, if this is not good
for UI reasons, to have an adaptive time-out, so that retrying increases
the time-out?  Thanks.
