Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

   Opening any video file.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Tried opening different files (containers) and launching totem via
the command line (no errors or messages at all).

   * What was the outcome of this action?

File plays but video stutters and CPU load is very high for 5-10
seconds; after that video plays normally and CPU load is fine.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

File plays normally with no stuttering nor high CPU load right from
   the start (as with VLC).

This bug is annoying because I often happen to launch files for a few
seconds and discard them almost immediately so I happen to see this bad
behaviour most of the time.

Don't know if it's relevant but I'm running intel video drivers from
experimental and SNA (new default).

Thanks!
