I take some time to fill that bug report since I expect many of us to install that package as a Nautilus' replacement.

In dual pane mode, the background of the 'unselected' pane is set to 'selected-bg' as defined in the Gtkrc file.
However, the Adwaita theme provides a deep-blue color making the overall rendering rather strange. Moreover, if the detail-list view is selected, the background is inconsistent within a given pane (i.e. between the list and the empty part of the pane).

Thank you very much for reporting this issue. To be honest, I'm not fan of
GTK3 themes myself. Although they are here so we have to live with them.
Since LXDE upstream developers team is open for any suggestions then give
your suggestions for theming of that pane and it hopefully will be added
in next release.

As for detailed list view, that is not so simple to change because that
theming support comes from GtkTreeView which has a lot of problems beside
this one and upstream have some plans to reimplement that and therefore
fix this and few other problems. Although that is a lot of work so don't
expect it very soon.
