Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Burn fails on both the Mini and the Macbook Pro. OS-X works, K3b works. Both Mini and Macbook are early Intel machines with CoreDuo processors.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or

     ineffective)?

     xfburn continues inop.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Had to install the K libraries :-(

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Hi,

The drive classified the inserted medium as CD-ROM.
Either because it is really a CD-ROM or a closed CD-R or the drive
is mistaken.

The error message stems from libburn which forwards an error code that
was received from the drive. It happens early on write and is plausible,
given the fact that the drive announces to have a CD-ROM loaded.

Have a nice day :)
