Since upstream version 7.8, GDB can be compiled with support for Guile as an extension language. It would be nice to have a guile-enabled gdb available in Debian.

Hello,

Sorry, but there are already too many GDB packages, Debian toolchain maintainers discussed this a while ago and mostly decided to not enable such package for now and unlikely to happen in future. However, I'd be fine if we provide a way for users to build it themselves.

You don't need to add another package, just enable guile support in the existing gdb package.
People who want a gdb with minimal dependencies can install gdb-minimal
