Dear Maintainer,

some problems with menues under XFCE 4.10 and 4.12:

In Matlab since R2014a some menues are not working, e.g. in
Matlab->Home->Preferences nothing can be selected
 - the dialog "Preferences" is put in the background if you click on any
item,
 - instead in the main GUI the tab "Editor" is suddenly activated


Or in Simulink->Scope, no menues can be selected


Similar problem exists in the programm "dsmj" from the IMB Tivoli Storage
Manager: in the "Restore" GUI nothing can be selected.
This application is started on a remote server via ssh/xterm.


With Gnome or LXDE these problems do not occur.


BTW: graphic card is a NVidia GT620 with driver NVidia 3.46.47 .
But using the Debian nvidia driver 3.40 gives the same problems.

I'm sorry but considering you're using both proprietary hardware and
proprietary applications, there's not much we can do to help you debug.

It might be worth trying to change GTK theme, but it's a bit of a random
thought.
