Dear Maintainer,

Using Iceweasel 31.5.3, fresh with no addons, I tried to access my dice.com
account. There, I typed my email address and my password. I logged in and
Iceweasel stored my password. I then logged out and allowed Iceweasel to fill
in the username and password fields. This resulted in dice.com giving me a bad
username or password error. I know for a fact that the password was saved
correctly. I installed the plugin "Show Me The Password" which unmasks the
series of dots to the actual password. This also confirmed the correct
password. I moved .mozilla/ again and tried again. Still it won't work.
Curiously, if I delete the last character from the password that was
automatically filled in and retype it, I am able to log in.

src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
