1) I did a search on the Bugs page for "normal" priority bugs
including the word "broken" in the subject
(https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?include=subject%3Abroken;dist=unstable;severity=normal),
and it hung forever, eventually resulting in a gateway timeout page.
Isn't this a DOS vector as well as annoying to users?
2) None of the search fields should be mandatory. For example, the
default criteria will return the first 50 open bugs, beginning with
the most recent.
3) There is a note on https://www.debian.org/Bugs/ stating that,
"Note: some of the
previously available indices of bug reports aren't available due to
internal problems with the program that generated them. We apologize
for the inconvenience." It would be better to hide the links than to
be permanently unreliable.
Thanks,
Adam
