The isc-dhcp software does not recognize ipoib (IP over Infiniband) devices. For example trying to bring up the interface when it is configured to use dhcp results in: $ ifup ib0 Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client 4.3.1 Copyright 2004-2014 Internet Systems Consortium.
