    I use mnemosyne for my spaced repetitions. After having installed
debian jessie, cards with audio media work no more (audio controls are
visible and clickable, but no sound is played).
Sound works fine on my machine (I can play audio, video files with
mplayer: no problems).
I ran menmosyne with --debug=<file>, no information was logged on <file>.

After a bit of investigating, I found out the problem is related to
this qt4 bug [1] (qt4 doesn't work with alsa).
I talked with mnemosyne developer Peter Bienstam, you can find
3 .diff to work around the problem (just for mnemosyne, not for qt4)
