It would be very nice, if aptitude could distinguish between
"DEPENDENCIES" and "RECOMMENDATIONS" in the log file. This
could help to get rid of unwanted packages later.

I have seen it way too often that a recommended package
stays forever, even if the package that asked for it has
been purged.
