Dear Maintainer,
I'm an usually testing branch version, but now I'm stuck on the stable branch due to this bug.
I have a Broadwell-U computer with it's integrated graphics which recives support for Linux at driver version 2:2.99.917-1. The stable version 2:2.21.15-2 doesn't support Broadwell and I only get software rendering. The proper driver version is now on backports, testing and unstable according to: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/xserver-xorg-video-intel.
So the problem starts when I was using the testing branch. VLC video player doesn't play well different kinds of videos, showing some kind of weird pixels on all videos. Now I'm on Jessie with the same version of the driver grabbed from backports and the problem is present too.
I haven't installed something else from backports so I think the problem is in that version.
Another strange behavior comes when I suspend the laptop. After I wake the laptop the mouse and keyboard are not usable any more forcing me to do a hard reset.
This is, basically, the problem I have notice. Let me know if I can provide more information.
Best regards.
