As the reproducable is gaining seriuos tracktion, perhaps it would be an
idea to allow how-can-i-help to notify about installed packages that are
not reproducable, and suggest to help out making the packages
reproducable? I'm not quite sure what kind of data source is available
to know if a package is reproducable or not, but perhaps something from
<URL: https://reproducible.debian.net/reproducible.html > can be used?

Hi,

https://reproducible.debian.net/reproducible.json should have all the info
that's needed.

That said, I'm not sure reproducibility status of installed packages should be
displayed by default *now* (already). It might be wiser to wait a bit before
making this the default... (because hardly actionable output quickly becomes
ignored noise.)

*That* said, I totally welcome this feature request! :-)

cheers,

That link still works, though is there a better one now? Perhaps one
that only targets the current testing release (e.g. the one used by
udd.debian.org, maybe)?

It has come a ong way since 2015, hovering around 94% for testing and
83% for unstable on amd64, so perhaps time to reconsider? :)

Likewise!
