If a source package gets removed from unstable, (usually) its bugs are
closed. That same should happen if a package gets removed from
experimental that is not (any more) in unstable.

Do you have some examples of packages removed from experimental with
bugs left open?

Primarily I've seen this on packages that have not been in unstable, but
in experimental only (or where the version in experimental actively
survived unstable). But I don't remember any concrete example (closed so
many ancient bugs recently ...)
