Dear Maintainer, I encountered a problem while creating an Office 365 account. I went to Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts->Add and entered the following configurations: Server type: Exchange Web Services username: tvtuovin@ad.helsinki.fi host url: https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx -> Fetch URL Everything seemed to work but the account did not appear on the list. I tried this several times and closed and reopended the Evolution also without success. After my attemts I found some Evolution back processes with ps -ef | grep evolution and killed those. After that I restarted Evolution and now the accounts that I had created and all of them started to fetch new mail but it did not seem to work and evolution would hang if I clicked any of the accounts on the list on the left. After restarting Evolution I was able to re-enter Edit->Preferences and I tried deleting the extra accounts. The account would disappear from the list but Evolution would hang again and after restart the account would still be on the list. I was able to resolve all the above issues by installing evolution-mapi package. So it seems that at least with Office 365 accounts the evolution-ews package requires the evolution-mapi package.
After a conversation with jelmer on IRC, it seems that this issue might not be related to -mapi after all. That being said, it is still clearly extant, even in the version in sid. I don't experience a hang; the Evolution client opens, but it refuses to actually add an EWS account.
I note, `evolution --force-shutdown` seems to make the accounts appear, despite multiple attempts of stopping and starting evolution normally having no effect.
