Dear Maintainer,

In the KDE system settings, if I go to Display Configuration, after system boot
it shows my laptop's display and the external display.

They are positioned side by side.

If I move the external display to be on the top of the laptop's display to
follow the actual physical layout and apply my changes, the external monitor
becomes black and eventually goes to sleep. In the Display configuration I can
no longer see the second display, only eDP1 remains.

I have not found any way to make the external monitor working again, other than
rebooting the computer. I have tried disconnecting and connecting the cable,
restarting kdm and the X server.

I have experienced this with analogue RGB connected external monitor,
Displayport connected external monitor, and RGB or Displayport connected TV

Expected outcome:
If I change the position of a display,
- all displays continue working,
- their logical position is what I have set up (i.e. if DP2 is above eDP1, then
I can move something from eDP1 to DP2 by moving it upwards)

If I connect an external monitor, I expect that it starts working and its
logical position will be the same that I have set it last time.

Regards,
Gabor
