This error is there since beginning of July 2015 or so.
And it was in testing.

I try to update to experimental but this bug is still there.

Hello Peter,

this issue didn't render the package completely unusable so lower down
the severity to important.
The various level of severity are explained on
https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Developer#severities

It would be good to know with which version this issue began to happen.
Otherwise it's hard to explain on upstream.

You can use some debugging to see what Icedove is doing in the
background.
