I have the gnome shell set up to go to the application if I click on the
Favorites Dock and the Application is already running. It works well with other
applications even if they are in different workspaces. The click causes the
workspace to change.

With Nautilus that doesn't happen. Nothing happens.

The net result from a user perspective is utter confusion. Especially if the
Nautilus Window is hidden by another window, the thumbnail of the other
workspaces do not show it anywhere, and yet it won't start.

Dear Maintainer,

I've the inverse behavior. My system is configured to always opening a
new instance. This works fine with all other applications except
Nautilus since recent update. Now when I've two nautilus windows open, when I do an action in the second one, I'm transferred to the first window.

In the same way, when I try to open a new instance from another workspace (by clicking on an desktop icon for example), I'm transferred to a nautilus instance in another workspace.

In the past this two points worked well.
