Hi, Corekeeper installs a sysctl snippet under /etc. This means that if corekeeper is removed but not purged, the configuration will still be applied. Please install in /usr/lib/sysctl.d. Procps also reads from there using a scheme like systemd-sysctl.
Which version of procps supports this? Last time I tried it didn't.
The init script uses --system since 2013, when it fixed a bug filed by... you ;) https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=698888
