Hello, For instance, on http://snapshot.debian.org/package/gnome-orca/ we have the list of available versions. I would however like to know which release includes which version. For instance it could be something like the following, i.e. just marking the version that distribs are currently providing. • 3.18.2-1 (stretch, sid) • 3.18.0-2 • 3.18.0-1 • 3.16.2-2 • 3.16.2-1 • 3.16.1-2 • 3.16.1-1 • 3.16.0-1 • 3.14.0-4 (jessie) • 3.14.0-3 • 3.14.0-2 • 3.14.0-1 • 3.13.90-1 • 3.13.3-1 • 3.12.2-1 • 3.12.1-1 • 3.12.0-1 • 3.11.92-1 • 3.10.2-1 • 3.4.2-2 (wheezy) • 3.4.2-1 • 3.4.1-1 • 3.4.0-2 • 3.4.0-1 • 3.3.92-1 • 3.2.2-2 • 3.2.2-1 • 3.0.4-1 • 2.91.6-1 • 2.30.2-2 (squeeze) • 2.30.2-1 • 2.30.1-1 • 2.30.0-2 • 2.30.0-1 • 2.28.3-2 • 2.28.3-1 • 2.28.2-1 Samuel
At this point in time the database does not include any information about codenames so it would be a lot of work (both machine and human) to implement this. You would have to parse every Release/Sources/Packages file to populate the initial mapping and update the mirror trigger to parse them too.

Hi, If this ever gets implemented, I would like to ask for the suite name to be included on the page listing the binary packages versions, like: https://snapshot.debian.org/package/mesa/24.3.0-1/#libglx-mesa0_24.3.0-1 Without this information, it's harder to use the snapshots with APT to get a specific binary package. Best regards, Celelibi
This parsing has been done for the metasnap project: https://metasnap.debian.net/ There is an API for finding out which suites had a particular binary package version for what range of timestamps: https://metasnap.debian.net/cgi-bin/api?archive=debian&pkg=libcamel1.2-dev&arch=powerpc&ver=2.27.90-1 https://metasnap.debian.net/cgi-bin/api?archive=debian&pkg=libcamel1.2-dev&arch=powerpc&ver=2.27.90-1&suite=rc-buggy https://metasnap.debian.net/cgi-bin/api?archive=debian&pkg=libcamel1.2-dev&arch=powerpc&ver=2.27.90-1&suite=rc-buggy&comp=main
