I recently added a chromium-shell package, but I don't think that's
quite what you're looking for.

You're probably looking for something like libchromiumcontent [0]?

This RFP should be closed because electron's libchromiumcontent
is now part of electron.

What electron does is that they download chromium src files,
and apply many patches [0] on them.

There is no hope of making this a shared library.
