Dear Maintainer, Checking the upstream FontForge project, the maintainer of the Linux Libertine project seems to have been inactive for two years and unresponsive to contributors: https://sourceforge.net/u/philthelion/profile/ https://sourceforge.net/p/linuxlibertine/discussion/307868/thread/4400449a/ https://sourceforge.net/p/linuxlibertine/discussion/307868/thread/b2195e99/ That's why Khaled Hosny created a fork with many bug fixes and an additional math font: https://github.com/khaledhosny/libertinus https://github.com/khaledhosny/libertinus/issues/16 I suggest to switch to that fork, which seems more up-to-date and active.
Hello, I would like to remind you guys of this bugreport about Libertinus fork from 2016. Am I right to observe that Libertine upstream has not fixed a reported bug since 2014? Judging by the sourceforce issue page there are even larger problems left unfixed. It does not seem to be maintained anymore. Do you have any contact with upstream? Shall anyone spend any time on reporting bugs or it's just a waste of time? As for Libertinus: It seems to be actively maintained since 2016, looks like a very much working alternative to Libertine. Would you share your stance about this issue please? Thank you!
