Mono 4.8 (due early next year) should remove the need for a separate
cert store entirely, so I'm not going to spend much time on this unless
it gets really close to release & is still a problem.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
mono, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
attached.
