dir_open: Could not open directory 'locale' from '/var/lib/boinc-client'.

The above error appears in /var/log/boincerr.log in a default configuration.

The above forum thread suggests that the Debian package should just patch out the
check for locales disk space.

I looked at lib/translate.cpp (dir_open call), but I failed to understand how
to patch it.
