When switching from the ISC dhcp client to dhcpcd (uninstalling packages isc-dhcp-client, isc-dhcp-common, installing package dhcpcd5) users which are logged in via SSH are no longer logged out automatically when the system is shut down. Switching back to isc-dhcp-client restores the correct behavior. System: BananaPi Board Debian Jessie (armhf) SysV-Init (no systemd) Kernel 4.7-rc3+ (self compiled)
Hello, This package was removed from Debian (see #743218) as it was superseded by a newer version. In case you can reproduce this behaviour with the current version of dhcpcd please feel free to reopen and reassign as needed. Kind regards, Andrei
Control: reopen -1 Control: reassign -1 dhcpcd5 Never mind, the version suggests this was intended for dhcpd5 in jessie. Reproducing this with newer version of dhcpcd5 would still be useful though. Kind regards, Andrei
